1. What 3Gifts uses
3Gifts code does not set advertising or profiling cookies. It uses browser local storage, a technology saved on your device, to remember your Umami preference. Language selection uses the page URL and does not require a separate stored preference.
2. Necessary analytics preference
Local storage records only whether you accepted or rejected Umami, the choice date, and the preference panel version. The preference lasts six months and is necessary to respect your decision without asking on every page. It is not used to follow you across websites or build a profile.
3. Optional Umami Analytics
Umami Cloud is loaded only after explicit consent. It is configured without cookies, excludes query strings and URL fragments, reduces referrers to their origin, and respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. It receives only page views and generic events, never questionnaire answers, notes, budget, chosen date, displayed products, or refinement details.
Accepting or rejecting analytics does not change how the gift finder works. You can change your choice at any time using “Privacy preferences” in the footer. The new choice applies to subsequent activity; it cannot recall data already sent.
4. Hosting
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. The service handles the technical functions needed for delivery and security, without setting profiling or analytics cookies. See the Privacy Policy for more information.
5. External websites and browser controls
Buttons linking to Amazon, Etsy, Audible, and other Amazon digital services are external links. After you click, that service may use cookies or other identifiers under its own policies; 3Gifts does not control those technologies.
You can delete local storage and cookies through your browser settings. If you delete the 3Gifts preference, you will be asked again whether to allow Umami.
